Dr. G. Harinath Gowd, Principal, Jaya College of Engineering and Technology, graduated in B.Tech Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from JNTU Anantapur in 2002 and obtained his Master of Engineering from JNTU Kakinada with Distinction in 2004. He earned his Ph.D. from JNTU Anantapur in March 2012. He possesses over 20 years of experience in both teaching and research.

He has published over 29 research papers in reputed international journals and authored four textbooks. He has successfully guided two research scholars, with two more currently pursuing their research under his supervision.

Dr. Harinath Gowd has received several prestigious awards and recognitions throughout his academic career. He was honored with the JNTU Teacher Award 2022 by JNTU Anantapur on September 5, 2022. He also received the ISTE – Andhra Pradesh State Best Mechanical Engineering Faculty Award for the academic year 2020, and was recognized as the Best Faculty in MITS for the academic year 2018.
